Still relatively new to the menswear scene, Stella McCartney has helped shape the ever-evolving womenswear landscape for the better part of 15 years with her imaginative, boundary-pushing design philosophies. Looking ahead to the upcoming fall/winter season, the designer’s namesake label constructs a range brimming with upscale casual pieces. While signature outerwear, including renditions on the parka, duffle and pea coat stand out, so too does the use of statement prints. Traditional stripes, tartan-inspired patterns and animal prints make their way onto a variety of jackets, tops, trousers and shoes. Very much in line with its womenswear line, Stella McCartney succeeds in creating a well-balanced seasonal lineup hitting everything from contemporary, functional and eclectic.
