Nintendo Announces Another 'Metroid' Game, 'Metroid: Samus Returns' for the 3DS
A big day for Samus.
After announcing Metroid Prime 4 for the Switch at its E3 press conference, Nintendo announced that Samus Aran is also set to receive a 3DS game titled, Metroid: Samus Returns. Returning to the series sidescrolling roots, the game is set to be a “reimagination” of the Game Boy game Metroid II: Return of Samus developed by MercurySteam. The game will feature a special reversible cover edition with a reversible cover and a “Samus Archives ”soundtrack with 25 tracks from various Metroid games. Check the trailer above and look for Metroid: Samus Returns to be released September 15.
