Nike offers another tribute to its humble Oregon beginnings and the Nike Cortez model with the new Nike Cortez Nylon ‘72. Following the release of the sleek ivory/pine green color scheme and Oregon-inspired ochre/gorge green conceptualized for the model’s 45th birthday, the brand designed another homage shoe with a number of subtle details worth pointing out.

The heel features the “NIKE” mark in a vintage typography, with the famous ‘72 struck in the suede leather. The inside features a tribute to the brands Blue Ribbon Sport origins with insoles covered by old logos including a design representing the Oregon pine tree and the round logo formed by the Swoosh. A classic black and white colorway is finished off with gum soles.

The Nike Cortez Nylon ‘72 Oregon is available online at SNKRS.com for €85 EUR (approximately $96 USD).
