Originally slated to be a “Phase Three” film in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, the revamped ABC television series Inhumans has officially debuted with its first trailer.

Inhumans are a secret race of metahumans living on the moon, with the series following the royal family in charge. The show’s lead, played by Anson Mount, is Black Bolt, the king of the Inhumans and infamously known for rarely speaking due to his destructive voice. His queen is Medusa, who has complete telekinetic control over her hair while Black Bolt’s brother Maximus — played by Game of Thrones‘ Iwan Rheon — covets his throne.

Inhumans will debut on September 1 in IMAX theaters and will run for two weeks. The entire season, including those first two episodes, will begin airing September 29 on ABC. Watch the trailer above and share your thoughts below.
