Givenchy Unveils Its 2018 Pre-Spring Looks
The French luxury house heads to the Eternal City.
As previously reported, Givenchy is skipping out on Paris Fashion Week this summer, eschewing a runway show in favor of a showroom presentation instead. Now, ahead of PFW, the label has revealed its Pre-Spring 2018 looks. Designed by its in-house menswear collective, the range appears ahead of creative director Clare Waight Keller’s debut, which will take place in January of next year. The collection — a precursor of sorts to the Paris Fashion Week unveiling, which will be on view from June 27 through July 1 — takes cues from locales around Rome and offers solid monochromatic looks alongside an injection of royal blue and a preponderance of camouflage; the looks don’t stray far from those of Riccardo Tisci. The pre-spring reveal also coincides with the opening of Givenchy’s first Roman flagship, located at Via del Babuino, 195.
Take a look at the collection above and expect the pre-spring release to hit retail early next year.
