Adapted sportswear galore.

For the presentation of his 2018 spring/summer collection, British designer Christopher Shannon took inspiration from his teenage days. The collection itself showed the adapted sportswear that Shannon has become known for, along with washed denim and heavily branded bags. T-shirts were also key pieces of the collection, featuring lines from some of Shannon’s favorite songs including ‘Danger Came Smiling,’ which is from a song by a 1980s post-punk band, and ‘It’s Been Hours Now,’ which is taken from a band from Shannon’s hometown of Liverpool. The actual presentation also referenced teenage years, as a studio in East London was made to look like a teenager’s bedroom, as the models played on the PlayStation with their bad home-dyed hair. As well as his 2018 spring/summer collection, the presentation also saw the launch of Christopher Shannon’s first ever fragrance, which he has made with Verduu.
