Blends & Vans Reunite for Another Sk8-Hi
With a little help from Born Free.
This year marks the ninth annual installment of Orange County’s Born Free and, to celebrate, the SoCal motorcycle show has re-teamed with both Blends and Vans for yet another collaborative endeavor. A followup to last year’s Old Skool, the new drop comes in the form of a Sk8-Hi. Appearing under the Vault banner and in premium OG LX form, the drop echoes the aesthetic of its predecessor and is once again highlighted by canvas and suede construction along with a red, white and blue Jazz Stripe. This time, however, the design eschews the Old Skool’s predominately black look in favor of rich blue. Finishing touches include a translucent checkerboard outsole and co-branded hits to the tongue and custom footbeds.
The limited edition Sk8-Hi LX will be available at Born Free this upcoming weekend before hitting Blends’ web store on Tuesday, June 27 at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT.
