TAKAHIROMIYASHITA The Soloist.'s 2017 Spring/Summer Collection Gets the Spotlight in a New Gritty Editorial
Featuring wicked face masks made by expert craftsman Shin Murayama.

Takahiro Miyashita—the luminary behind TAKAHIROMIYASHITA The SoloIst., and former Number (N)ine designer—has creative-directed an uncannily striking editorial for the Japanese label’s 2017 spring/summer range. The visuals were made exclusively for intelligence Magazine‘s latest issue and consist of 12-pages stylized in a gritty aesthetic.
Master craftsman Shin Murayama created the striking series of face masks that were inspired by characters produced by Tokyo-based illustrator SKOLOCT. The masks feature cut-out eyes and pointed teeth set against black, white and red vintage bandanas. Other pieces in the gamut include Americana-inspired tops as well as accessories such as chains and finger rings that complement the haunting ambiance.
