adidas Unveils An "Oreo" Colorway for the Y-3 PureBOOST
Yohji Yamamoto lends his creative genius to adidas once again.
After teaming up with adidas for a “Triple Black” colorway of the Y-3 PureBOOST, now comes the announcement of a new “Oreo” colorway for the same model. This time around, lead designer Yohji Yamamoto will opt to mix the previously used black with white thread across the body’s mesh upper, bound together by black reinforcement that sports Yamamoto’s name along the side. The body sits on top of a white adidas BOOST sole which is sandwiched in between the upper and the black rubber outsole.
In addition to the “Triple Black” colorway, the adidas Y-3 PureBOOST “Oreo” will be available this fall for $320 USD on Antonioli.
