A Look at the A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph Wrist Watch With Black Dial
A slimmer version of the brand’s classic Datograph Up / Down.

Though the highly sought-after A. Lange & Söhne Datograph Up / Down is a timelessly beautiful watch, some prefer its successor the 1815 Chronograph – a slightly slimmer and more slender version of it. Where this watch differs from the original Datograph and boutique release of the 1815 Chronograph just a couple years ago, is it features a black pulsation in a white case. A first for the brand ever. It also manages to stay 1.5 mm slimmer than its predecessors, by removing the Date, however it’s managed to maintain the exact same reputable caliber as the Datograph. In white gold with a 39.5 mm diameter and 10.8 mm thickness, the A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph is also competitively priced, retailing over $30,000 less than the next comparable watch, the A. Lange & Söhne 5170G.
