Pharrell & Kaytranada Are Planning to Make New Music Together

Pharrell Williams gushes over Kaytranada‘s sound and talents in a new visual from the 44-year-old icon’s OTHERtone series. “It’s amazing what you do and your touch,” Pharrell tells the 99.9% producer. “I’m really looking forward to being on your record.” Sitting down with Pharrell and Scott Vener for his latest Beats 1 interview, Kaytranada also appears to get Pharrell to agree on a joint EP focused on Haitian musical styles — while that project might not be set in stone, one can hope it comes into being. Considering the snippet of Pharrell and Kaytra’s OTHERtone conversation that’s currently available for listening, the pair have at least one collaboration on the way.
