Marcelo Burlon‘s collaboration alongside Kappa is now available for pre-order. The capsule which was first seen on the Italian design house’s 2017 fall/winter runway show blends Burlon’s high-end streetwear aesthetic with the heritage sportswear brand’s athletic designs. Here we see a range consisting of T-shirts, tracksuits and sweatshirts in red, black, and army green all emblazoned with the County of Milan and Kappa logos. The items coincide with today’s sportswear trend as seen from other high-end labels.

To see the entire collection and to pre-order, head on over to Marcelo Burlon’s official site, here.

Read our exclusive interview with Marcelo Burlon about the capsule below:

Why did you decide to work with Kappa?

There was no real thinking, but when the proposition of a collaboration arose it felt like the right thing to do.

Do you have a favorite piece from the collection?

The black two piece tracksuit is my favorite, but maybe it’s because black is my favorite color. I really like how every piece of this capsule collection is iconic Kappa heritage with a twist.

Do you think the sportswear/high fashion crossover is a lasting influence or a passing trend?

I’m not a psychic, but for a while, sportswear and fashion speak the same languages, or actually, fashion speaks the language of sportswear, so I think it became way bigger than a trend or a seasonal thing.

Do you see the Kappa collaboration being an ongoing one or a one-off?

I’ll be doing a wider capsule collection with them for next season, which you’ll see in June on the runway.
