Martin Scorsese Is Producing a Documentary on Grateful Dead
Titled ‘Long Strange Trip.’
Martin Scorsese is set to produce a four-hour long Grateful Dead documentary titled Long Strange Trip. The film will feature all-new interviews, never-before-seen footage, concert performances and more. Directed by Amir Bar-Lev, the documentary aims to shed light on the band’s career to the dead of Jerry Garcia in 1995. Dr. Dre is also producing a documentary called The Defiant Ones, which centers around the “unlikely and wildly successful partnership” between him and Jimmy Iovine.
