Martin Scorsese Is Producing a Documentary on Grateful Dead

Martin Scorsese is set to produce a four-hour long Grateful Dead documentary titled Long Strange Trip. The film will feature all-new interviews, never-before-seen footage, concert performances and more. Directed by Amir Bar-Lev, the documentary aims to shed light on the band’s career to the dead of Jerry Garcia in 1995. Check out the trailer above, and anticipate the full project to release on Amazon Prime.

Dr. Dre is also producing a documentary called The Defiant Ones, which centers around the “unlikely and wildly successful partnership” between him and Jimmy Iovine.
