Watch the First Trailer for 'Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow' Mobile Game
Join Fry, Bender and company for even more adventures.
The Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow trailer for Android and iOS dropped today, with series creator and executive producer Matt Groening and David X. Cohen respectively involved in its development.
“[It] will blend simulation, combat, galactic exploration, and choose-your-own-adventure mechanics together to bring the escapades of the Planet Express crew to life,” according to Engadget.
Although the game takes place in the series’ setting New New York, where character recruiting and story-driven quests happen, space combat and exploration will be involved as well, rendered in a 16-bit arcade style. Your choices during exploration will also determine your outcome as your game goes on.
There are a multitude of mechanics being implemented in the game, which is a level of intricacy not found in your usual run-of-the-mill mobile game.
If the Hypnotoad in the trailer enticed you to play this game as soon as possible, there’s a sign-up page that will notify you when the game drops.
