Euphoric Scenes From the 2017 Europa League Final
A good day for the Red Devils.
Though only placing sixth after the 2016/17 Premier League season, Manchester United went on to defeat Ajax in the Europa League final giving José Mourinho a reason to celebrate. Despite some struggles and a few controversies — like exiling German superstar Bastian Schweinsteiger — Mourinho was able to guide the Red Devils into the Champions League once again while winning two trophies along the way.
During the match, Man U were able to seal the victory over the Dutch club — though heavy hitters such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Luke Shaw were injured — with goals from Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
