KITH’s own Ronnie Fieg is back with another collaboration continuing his everlasting relationship alongside ASICS. Fieg’s initial “Volcano” launch from 2013 will soon be followed up with a sequel thanks to the “Volcano 2.0” collection. This time around the offering consists of the GEL-Diablo and GEL-Lyte III models, both hosting striking colorways.
Kicking things off, the GEL-Lyte III takes the premium route thanks to its Japanese craftsmanship. Mesh, nubuck, neoprene, and pigskin suede come together throughout its upper while hosting burgundy and ash pink coloring. The model is finished off with its split tongue design and Ronnie Fieg-printed insoles.
The GEL-Diablo makes its first return since the late ’90s with light shading along its upper. It’s further complemented with subtle coloring additions such as burgundy, ash pink and navy throughout. Premium nubuck, sport mesh and pigskin suede materials are also mixed together on the high quality model. Limited to 1,000 pairs, the first 500 pairs of the GEL-Diablo were previously released via a surprise KITHstrike.
The Ronnie Fieg x ASICS “Volcano 2.0” collection is slated to drop on April 21 at all KITH shops in addition to online. The GEL-Lyte III will retail for $250 USD while the GEL-Diablo is priced at $175 USD.
