Orlando Bloom Returns as Will Turner in New 'Pirates of the Caribbean' Trailer
What’s in store for the long-lost captain?
Disney‘s newest trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales finally gives fans a glimpse of Orlando Bloom‘s anticipated return as the long-lost Will Turner in the fantasy action film series. The last time the star appeared in the film series was in the 2007 installment Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, in which Will Turner was forced to take over the ghost ship and leave behind his wife Elizabeth Swann (played by Keira Knightley) and their young son Henry. This time, the blacksmith-turned-pirate appears looking very worn down with barnacles covering his face. It’s unclear how big of a role Orlando Bloom will have in the newest Pirates of the Caribbean film, following his absence from the fourth installment, On Stranger Tides. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is slated to hit cinemas on May 26 in conventional and 3D IMAX formats.
