Major Lazer‘s smash hit with PARTYNEXTDOOR and Nicki Minaj, “Run Up,” gets the official video treatment today courtesy of esteemed music video directors Paul, Luc and Martin. “The idea was to laugh at ourselves and at the unconditional love we bear to our smartphones,” say the directors of the video, adding “humor and absurdity came naturally in our speech because our will was not to accuse someone or something but just exaggerate it to foster reflection.” The single as of today, has been streamed more than 200 million times globally and is continuing to climb.
