With the release of his anticipated studio album set to drop this Friday, Kendrick Lamar has met with religious leader, Minister Louis Farrakhan. The leader of the Nation of Islam posted a series of photos on Instagram last night alongside the esteemed Compton rapper, captioning it as a “Cultural Revolution” while also stating “I was very honored to meet and talk with my powerful brother and Hip-Hop artist Kendrick Lamar.” In another image, Farrakhan also praised K-Dot saying “The artistic community has historically been in the vanguard of social change #Farrakhan #KendrickLamar.” See the images below while all the details for Kendrick’s upcoming DAMN. album — including artwork, tracklist and features — can be found here.
