Pope Francis Is Gifted Michigan Football Air Jordan 5s and Helmet in Vatican City

Coach Jim Harbaugh and the University of Michigan Wolverines presented Pope Francis with a team helmet and exclusive Air Jordan 5 PEs during their trip to Vatican City today. The classic UMich helmet had Italian and American flags on the back while the sneakers featured the team’s “M” logo in yellow on the lower lateral heel of the all-navy upper with yellow tongue. From the photos it looks like everyone enjoyed themselves even though we had no idea the Pope was into basketball, football or fire fits. But it’s safe to say that future presents in the form of footwear should be a US10 in size (see photo below). Regardless, Twitter chimed in as well and Ryan Nanni stated what every UMich fan probably felt, “Jim Harbaugh giving the Pope a Michigan helmet is perhaps the greatest troll of Notre Dame ever.”
