Last week, Chance the Rapper sent out an invitation to everybody for his 24th birthday party. Prices ranged from $100 for general admission to $2,500 for VIP seating. All proceeds from the event would go to his nonprofit organization Social Works, the same charity that recently donated $1 million USD to Chicago’s public schools. Although the prices aren’t cheap, fans bought every single ticket and raised over $100,000. The event took place at Chicago’s Studio Paris, where Ludacris and T-Pain did surprise performances. Sesame Street’s Big Bird made an appearance and Chance also displayed a custom birthday cake. Learn more about the event in detail via NY Daily News.
