Jordan Brand is apparently bringing back the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” for the 2017 holiday season. Originally released in November 1996, this simple black and white version was the first colorway seen on the 12th edition. The design has seen retro releases throughout the year, with a low-top rendition eventually making its way onto shelves in 2004. As reported by Sneaker Files, the newest release will uphold the original sneaker’s silhouette, with white tumbled leather along the upper and black pebbled leather on the mudguard. Accented with gold eyelets and yellow hues on the carbon fiber, the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” is estimated to receive a Quickstrike release sometime around December 2017. Be sure to check back for more details and an official date on this limited drop.
