Martine Rose Repurposes Technical Fleece in Napapijri Collaboration
The North Pole arrives in North London.
London-based designer Martine Rose is gearing up for the 2017 fall/winter season with a collaborative capsule collection with Napapijri. Titled “Napa by Martine Rose,” the collection mixes Napapijri’s water-repellent and Curly Fleece fabrics in ’90s styling and bold blocked colors. Two signature pieces of the capsule are the Skidoo anorak — originally created for a North Pole expedition but repurposed here for the street in a heavily quilted construction — and the Rainforest Jacket.
