Last seen as a part of a 2008 “Collezione Package” alongside that year’s iteration of the “Playoffs” Air Jordan 11, the “Taxi” edition of the Air Jordan 12 is set for a highly-anticipated return this winter. Originally released in November of 1996 with a White/Black-Taxi colorway and – like all 12s, of course – inspired aesthetically by both the Japanese Nisshōki and 19th century women’s dress boots, the “Taxi” Jordans make use of a tumbled white leather upper alongside a black pebbled leather mudguard and a combination of black, red and gold accents throughout. Expect the 2013 retro of the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” to turn up as early as December 14 at Jordan Brand stockists like Atlanta’s Wish.
