Sonic Forces is geared to bring ultra-fast-paced gaming, and the pioneer of quick-action runner games, Sonic, to home consoles once again. Gone are the days when you’d sit just a little too close to the TV while collecting as many rings as you can — now you’re engulfed into a new world with obstacles coming at all angles. Sonic the Hedgehog’s next installation will include the antagonist of Death Egg Robot sentinels who aim to take over the city. New attack moves, expansive environments, and a ridiculous frame rate will be what sets this from the retro Sonic games of yesteryear.
You can expect Sonic Forces to drop during 2017’s holiday season on platforms such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
