A 'Candy Crush' Show Is Coming to TV This Summer

If you’ve ever thought watching other people play Candy Crush sounds like a fun way to spend a Sunday night, then you’re in luck: CBS is set to launch a television show based on the popular game. Set for a premiere over the summer, the live-action game show, according to CBS, will see the “worldwide phenomenon comes to life as teams of two people use their wits and physical agility to compete on enormous, interactive game boards featuring next generation technology to conquer Candy Crush and be crowned the champions.”
The show premieres on July 9 at 9 p.m. ET.
