Nike is delving deep into ’90s hoops footwear lore with its latest retro drop and taking things back to 1996 and the Bulls’ championship run to resurrect an underrated classic: the Air Shake NDestrukt. Developed by longtime go-to Swoosh designer Eric Avar (who most recently helmed the unique Kobe A.D. NXT), the kicks were rocked by Dennis Rodman on the way to the title and were the perfect reflection of “one of basketball’s most colorful champions.” Like the aforementioned Kobes, the NDestrukt was highlighted by an unorthodox lacing system that, in this case, appeared on the medial side of the shoe, and worked in conjunction with a leather shroud and Velcro strap for a lockdown fit.

True to the OG and returning in three timeless colorways, the Air Shake NDestrukt will officially make a comeback on April 28 at select Nike Sportswear stockists and nike.com.
