Today marks luxury German brand Montblanc‘s first venture into the world of smart watches with its Summit timepiece. Inspired by the Montblanc 1858 line, the Summit seeks to unite the most coveted elements of traditional wrist watches with cutting-edge technology. Arriving in case options including polished and black PVD-coated stainless steel, the high-contrast AMOLED display is powered by Google Android Wear 2.0 allows wearers to flip between several different virtual faces to suit their tastes. Aesthetic versatility continues with rubber, leather and exotic bands which can be swapped with minimal effort using a convenient clasp system.

On the tech side, the Summit comes preloaded with apps like Uber and Foursquare, while fitness buffs will appreciate the built-in heart monitor, which is the first of its kind for a luxury smart watch. Charging is cord-free via a magnetic dock, and the timepiece contains 4GB of built-in storage that can be used to sync and play music wirelessly without the need of a smartphone. Take a look through the photos above, and customize your Summit setup starting at $890 USD on the official Montblanc website.
