Eddie Redmayne Stars in Prehistoric Stop-Motion Comedy 'Early Man'

Aardman Animations looks back at the world’s very first game of football.

Coming early next year from Aardman Animations — the same British studio behind Wallace and Gromit — is its latest stop-motion feature film, Early Man. Directed by fellow Wallace and Gromit alumnus Nick Park, Early Man is “set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures and woolly mammoths roamed the earth” and stars Eddie Redmayne as Dug, who teams up with his sidekick Hognob to unite his tribe and take down Lord Nooth (Tom Hiddleston) and the mighty Bronze Age at their own game. The result” the world’s very first game of football.

Early Man is set to hit theaters on January 26 of 2018.
