Watch the First Preview of Amazon's Docuseries 'American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story'
With rare never-before-seen footage.
The first trailer for the previously reported Amazon docuseries of Playboy‘s very own Hugh Hefner has just arrived. American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story combines rare unseen footage from his personal archive along with re-enactments of his life and will provide its audience a different look at the rise of the empire that has become internationally recognized for its Bunny. In addition, the series will also touch upon the social impact of the brand. As recently as last year the brand was experimenting with non-nude magazine covers that included an inaugural Snapchat homage but Playboy has since returned to nude covers on its periodical.
Check out the trailer above. The first season will air on April 7 via Amazon Prime and the first episode will also be free on Playboy.com from April 7-13.
