Here's the Official Trailer for the 'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater' Video Game Documentary
FYI: PlayStation 1s go for about $40 USD on eBay.
OG PlayStation gamers and skaters rejoice: the official trailer for the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater documentary, Pretending I’m a Superman, has been released. The full-length documentary speaks about the legacy of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater video game series, all the way from the original in 1999 to the latest iteration in 2015. Tony Hawk himself, along with fellow pro Rodney Mullen and several members of the team at Neversoft, provide insight on the influences behind the game, the importance of the franchise, and how the game evolved.
The film is crowdfunded and produced by Ralph D’Amato, who both worked on eight THPS titles at Neversoft before working with Hawk himself. You can donate to the project on the documentary’s web site. As the project hasn’t been fully funded there’s no release date as of yet, but we will keep an eye out for more information as it becomes available.
