Diehard Nintendo fans have been known to achieve remarkable feats of speed playing games, hacking consoles and explaining things like how a NES Zapper works in great detail. Piotr Delgado “The Mexican Runner” Kusielczuk is one of these Nintendo guys. On May 28, 2014, he set off on a quest to complete all 714 NES titles starting with Whomp ‘Em and on February 26, he beat the final world of Super Mario 3 to bring his journey to an end.

In total, Piotr took 3,435 hours to complete the task which included 679 North American titles and 35 PAL (Phase Alternating Line) exclusives. For games that didn’t have a “dedicated ending,” he would play them until the game either started looping or had no way to progress any further for new content. He is the first person to ever complete all 714 titles but probably not the last.

Check out the game play stream above and let us know your favorite NES titles down below.
