Frank Ocean Collaborator Wolfgang Tillmans Takes Over the Tate Modern
With free entry.

Wolfgang Tillmans’ voice bookends Frank Ocean’s Endless — you can hear his German-tinged vocals at the beginning and end of the project. The photographer, artist, musician and activist now has a retrospective exhibition at the Tate Modern. Playing with sight and sound, the exhibition encompasses the past 14 years of Tillmans’ work, with a highlight on music as a form of expression.
Tillmans is no stranger to music, as mentioned, he was technically featured in Frank Ocean’s Endless. But his association goes way past just that. Over the past 18 months he has released two electronic EPs under his name in addition to dropping a mini album with his band, Fragile.
The installation is free to visit during gallery hours with special evening performances also free. Learn more here.
