The legendary Chitose Abe has earned a reputation of taking familiar looks, and redesigning them with unexpected details to invent something new. Each piece from her brand, sacai is no exception to this. The most recent release, a Hickory Stripe Blouson as seen above, is the creative’s take on a classic bomber. Abe has given it a loose silhouette, double-layer shawl collar with collar latch, full-zip front closure, hand pockets with their own closures and a sleeve zip pocket with multiple pen slots. The look is contrasted with a soft ribbed hem and cuffs. The blouson currently retails for $1519 at Need Supply Co.
