Kendrick Lamar Is Really Upset That Beyoncé Lost Album of the Year to Adele
According to TDE’s co-president.

Beyoncé fans might be upset that she lost the Album of the Year to Adele at the 2017 GRAMMYs, but they are not alone. In fact, Kendrick Lamar feels the same way, according to Terrence “Punch” Henderson, co-president of Top Dawg Entertainment. Punch took to Twitter last night after the British songstress won Album of the Year for 25 to share that Kendrick was not having it. He wrote: “I just spoke to K-Dot. He’s really up set about the Queen B not getting her album of the year trophy.”
Last year, Bey was nominated for the same award for her self-titled album, eventually losing to Beck. This caused Kanye West to almost cut off Beck’s acceptance speech. Back in 2014, Lamar lost out to Macklemore in the categories of Best New Artist and Best Rap Album, which also caused an uproar from fans and artists (including Macklemore himself) who believed that the Recording Academy had gotten it wrong.
Check out Punch’s post below and let us know if you feel the same way about the situation.
