Earlier this year we revealed some behind-the-scenes looks of an upcoming project between renowned artist KAWS and sportswear giant, Jordan Brand. Further reports speculate that the sneaker of choice for the collaboration will be the Jordan 4 model. However, ever since the announcement, evidence of any developments of the project has been sparse.

Today though, on Michael Jordan’s 54th birthday, KAWS went to Instagram to wish his “Airness” a happy birthday. But what Mr. Brian Donnelly also revealed was a hang tag to be part of the sneaker release. From the looks of it — the suede tag is actually grey, a different color from the black Jordan 4s (with possible glow-in-the-dark soles) that was initially teased. Hopefully, the next preview by KAWS will be the actual shoes. Stay tuned with us as we find more developments.

KAWS x Jordan is rumored to drop on March 1, 2017.
