Just at the start of this week, it was rumored and then confirmed by artist KAWS that he and Jordan Brand would be releasing a sneaker in the spring of 2017. While details remained sparse, the Air Jordan 4 was the rumored silhouette of choice, with pictures already leaked by Nike Talk showcasing a black suede upper with hits of gold, all sitting upon a glow-in-the-dark outsole displaying KAWS’ signature “X” on the bottom.

Now thanks to Jordan Brand, the company has just released images which show some behind-the-scenes action of the artist working and brainstorming. Seen in the images are a handful of different retros, including a patent leather Air Jordan 1. As of right now, it’s rumored the KAWS x Air Jordan 4 will be releasing on March 1, 2017. Stay tuned for more details.
