Cottweiler Wins This Year's International Woolmark Prize
Alongside womenswear designer Gabriela Hearst.

London design duo Cottweiler and American womenswear designer Gabriela Hearst were awarded The Woolmark Company’s prestigious International Woolmark Prize this year. The winners were chosen from a pool of talented designers from around the world who were tasked to utilize Merino wool into their own designs. The labels stood out from the others participating because of their ability to create something truly innovative by re-imagining the capability of the wool in inventive ways. With the awards, Cottweiler and Gabriela Hearst will receive financial backing to expand their labels.
Additionally, to celebrate this year’s International Woolmark Prize, The Woolmark Company commissioned film director Isaac Lock to produce Unravelled: the greatest story never told, which features looks from this year’s finalist and serves as an ambitious cinematic campaign.
