This week one of Nike SB’s original orange box silhouettes returns in high top form. Originally released on a Nike SB Dunk Low in 2002, the Reese Forbes “Denim” pushed the boundary on material design and inspired various designers to rethink how colorblocking and materials could come together on a sneaker. Celebrating it’s 15th anniversary, Nike SB will retro the iconic design on a Dunk Hi, marking the first time an orange box SB has been retroed.

Drawing the same design cues as the original, the retro will feature two shades of denim throughout the upper, a white midsole, red outsole and a light golden hued stitching. Unfortunately, the stuffed tongue that many have come to associate with Nike’s SB line doesn’t make it’s way onto this pair. However, fans will still recognize the red branding on the tongue just like the originals.

Take a closer look at the detailing of the Nike SB Dunk Hi OG “Reese Forbes Denim” above. It will be available for $110 USD on February 23 via SNKRS and on February 25 at select retailers like INVINCIBLE.
