Latest 'Alien: Covenant' Trailer Reveals the Terrifying Xenomorph
“The path to paradise begins in hell.”
Alien: Covenant has released a new trailer for the highly-anticipated Ridley Scott horror flick, just one week after 20th Century Fox dropped a surprise short prologue. The latest film in the franchise centres around the crew of the colony ship Covenant, who discover an uncharted paradise that turns out to be more dangerous than they expected.
The second trailer provides new scenes focusing on the forest terrain — something new for the films — as well as providing a closer look at the Xenomorph and the new Neomorph, a variation of the classic alien. Alien: Covenant will act as a direct sequel to Prometheus and is set before the events of the first Alien movie from 1979. Michael Fassbender returns as a synthetic android named David; a less advanced android based on a previous model in Prometheus. The film will hit theaters on May 19.
