Get a Deeper Look Into 'Alien Covenant' With This Four-Minute Prologue
The crew’s last happy days.
As a special holiday treat, the first trailer for Alien: Covenant was released, giving fans a look into Ridley Scott’s famed sci-fi universe. What we gathered so far is that the film follows the Covenant crew as they head towards a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovering what they believe to be an uncharted paradise.
The clip gives us a brief introduction to the characters, as well as the story. The film stars Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace and Guy Pearce — reprising their roles from Prometheus — along with newcomers Katherine Waterston, Demian Bichir, Billy Crudup, James Franco and Danny McBride. Alien: Covenant comes out May 19, 2017.
