A Michael Jackson Exhibition Is Coming to the Grand Palais
Titled “Michael Jackson: The Birth of an Icon.”
The Grand Palais in Paris is planning a major exhibit to pay tribute to the 10th anniversary of Michael Jackson‘s death. Entitled “Michael Jackson: The Birth of an Icon,” the extensive showcase explores the creative arts side of the King of Pop, putting on a display of diverse artworks from the past 30 years loaned by leading artists, collectors, and gallerists.
Jeff Koons, David LaChapelle, Klara Liden, Glenn Ligon, Paul McCarthy, Dexter Dalwood, Mark Flood, Isa Genzken, David Hammons and more have lent pieces for the show. “Michael Jackson: The Birth of an Icon” is set to take place at the Grand Palais from November 21, 2018 up until February 2019.
