Brandblack & Commonwealth Rework the Aura For "Disruption" Collaboration
High-end, distressed leather and Vibram soles.
This past October, Brandblack introduced a Vibram-soled basketball sneaker known as the DELTA. Continuing to employ the renowned sole-style, the brand links up with Commonwealth for a bold new collaborative effort.
A dramatic departure from Commonwealth’s previously-unveiled hand-stitched heritage collaboration with Padmore & Barnes, the “Disruption” project outfits the Brandblack Aura with exclusive Vibram RollinGait technology and both full-grain nappa leather and natural full-grain leather. Internally, a “flat-knit sock” provides additional sport and provides a standout level of comfort. Created in three unique colors, each Aura sneaker is put through an industrial-strength wash to produce a distressed appearance.
You can take a look at the new Brandblack and Commonwealth “Disruption” collaboration above, while the shoes will hit the e-shelves of the latter brand’s official website in the first week of January.
