Brandblack Unveils Vibram-Soled Basketball Sneaker
Vibram’s first exposure to the court.
Brandblack has revealed the DELTA, its latest sneaker silhouette. Boasting a variety of technical details, the shoe notably sports a Vibram sole, marking the first time the Italian outsole company has ventured onto the basketball court.
Boosted performance was the driving concept behind the DELTA’s customized Vibram sole, which aims to provide extra grip and sustained comfort. Of course, the sole isn’t the shoe’s only notable feature; it also boasts a knit upper, thermo-plastic heel counter and internal collar for maximum foot support, as well as an optimized lacing system to offer further fortification. The DELTA comes in a range of four colorways — tonal green or black, and two monochromatic white-and-black variations.
Available now on Brandblack‘s website, the sneaker weighs in at $140 USD.
2017 has been a productive year for Brandblack, as the label released a collaboration with New York imprint Willy Chavarria and a new sandal silhouette with a built-in bootie.
