Behind the Scenes of the sacai x UNDERCOVER Runway Show

Thanks to Amazon’s Japan fashion initiatives, Chitose Abe and Jun Takahashi presented their respective spring collections together this past Fall. Now, we have our first look behind the scenes at the unique show dubbed Tokyo’s biggest fashion party.

Bringing together two of Japan’s most eminent brands, the event featured a stadium-sized catwalk filled with influential personalities and hometown audience. Despite stark contrasts in aesthetics, each designer executed their work in a cohesive manner which seemed to complement the other; Sacai’s muted tonal pieces paved the way for the more visually loud UNDERCOVER looks. The end of the video reveals an after-party led by various performers.
