The Armadale Residence Shows You How to Make Granite Look Homely

Granite isn’t known for making the most picturesque exteriors, but this home proves that it is indeed possible. The Armadale Residence is a three story space that was designed by B.E Architecture, using three types of granite throughout the interior and exterior of the building.
The inside space is light and airy, using the retractable glazed doors that open into the courtyard to invite sunlight. The brief given to the architects specified downsizing as the owners children had long since moved out. Instead, they wanted a selection of guest rooms suitable for adults while focusing on the shared study and extra-large master bedroom. Take a look through the gallery to see the home for yourself.
