Thundercat Performs in 'Dragon Ball Z' Outfit on 'Colbert'
Performing the popular single “Them Changes.”
When it comes live performances, Thundercat knows how to put on one hell of a show. Following up his incredible summer appearance – aided by Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald — on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the west coast virtuoso pops up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for a special Halloween outing.
Performing the acclaimed Drunk single “Them Changes,” Thundercat and his backing band — in-house Colbert musicians Jon Batiste and Stay Human — deliver nearly five minutes of otherworldly musical bliss. Always an eccentric, Thundercat also hits the stage in a colorful Dragon Ball Z costume, celebrating Halloween in style. From the intensely-funky bass grooves to Thundercat’s diamond-studded glasses, this one goes down perfectly.

Right before stepping on the Colbert stage, Thundercat also joined forces with Shabazz Palaces to release the glitchy visual for their Quazarz: Born on a Gangster Star collaboration “Since C.A.Y.A.”
