Premier and Saucony are no strangers to collaboration, so it’s only logical that the duo would reunite sooner or later. That day has come, as “Stormlight,” a collaborative take on the Freedom Runner, is set to drop this week.

Centered around a theme of weather resilience, the “Stormlight” is inspired by the humble survival match. Weather treated suede and leather appear on the upper, with a rubberized toe intended to bolster water and dirt endurance. The shoe also features an EVERUN sole, which boasts several technical upgrades over your average running shoe sole: it’s twice as pliable as EVA soles and offers greater temperature sensitivity, which grants the sole longer life and more cushioning in harsh temperaments. The colorway is informed by the aforementioned matches, as is the match strike-influenced tongue tag.

The Premier x Saucony Freedom Runner “Stormlight” will be available from Premier’s storefront and webstore on November 18 for $120 USD. Check out the sneakers in action below and let us know if you’re planning to grab a pair for yourself. In related news, Sneakersnstuff recently dropped a collaborative Saucony model.
