'The Pirates of Somalia' Trailer Highlights the True Story of the Country's Underworld

The first trailer for The Pirates of Somalia has just been released. Based on a true story and New York Times bestseller, it follows an aspiring journalist’s trip to Somalia for a career-starting story, but one where he soon finds himself overwhelmed by Somali pirates and the country’s rich culture. The film stars Evan Peters alongside Melanie Griffith, Barkhad Abdi and Al Pacino.
The Pirates of Somalia hits theaters December 8.
