NYPD Shut Down a Campout for the Nike SB Dunk Low "Black Pigeon”
All for a pair of shoes.
As the official release of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Black Pigeon” nears, many sneakerheads are beginning to campout in front of their favorite retailers. Mirroring the 2005 release of the original Staple x Nike collab, the NYPD recently took notice of the commotion outside of Extra Butter’s Orchard Street location — putting a stop to the lineup. Taking to Instagram, Jeff Staple noted that law enforcement has forced Extra Butter to restrict when people can start lining up and an increased NYPD presence will be seen during the first come, first serve release to keep things orderly. Check out the Instagram post below to learn more about the upcoming release.
